I love the book and series! I have enjoyed all of LJ Andrews series. The way LJ Andrews keeps the story going and You never know what is going to happen. And, yes, I cried three times in fifth book.
Lucky me. I just finished a glorious binge read on the most recent additions to Dragon Mage, LJ Andrews’ really wonderful dragon shifter fantasy series. The Prince of Night (Book 4) and The Mage of Kings (Book 5) we’re just what is needed for this kind of a series, books which have well written plots in themselves while also doing a great job advancing the overall series story arc. Fans of this series will be very happy. The dragon mage might not have ever supposed to exist but Teagan is here, his tie to Jade is here, and woe to any who stand in the way, be they Prince of Night or anyone else. The final battle is nigh - and by book 5 the series will end in epic fashion. But for the fact that I’m literally dictating this review to my husband from my hospital bed I could go on and on with praises. The book definitely deserves it. Since I can’t do that I will simply note that the book is most definitely one to read, and it is easy to highly recommend.
This series has made feel many things and I have cried along the way here and there. It has kept me on the edge of my seat holding my breath to see what happens next. The adventure has had many twists and turns with a surprise thrown in here and there. It has kept my interest from start to finish. This installment showed how the family connection powered by love can do what some believe to be impossible. Teagan learns what he is capable of when Jade and his own child is in danger. While doing so becomes something else. The greatest for Teagan was to learn he belonged somewhere, had a Mother and Father that love him, a friend who became a brother, a wife who is his life and a child to love. Like any good story I am heartbroken to see this great series end. I recommend this story wholeheartedly. I am voluntarily leaving an honest review of this book because I love to read and endorse an author's writing I enjoy without revealing to much of the story to not to ruin it for others.
I really enjoyed this series. Teagan and Jade have grown so close and refuse to give up on a future together. This last book brings good closure to the storyline.The action and adventure make for an exciting read and the romance warms your heart. I enjoyed getting to know the characters thru the series. Teagan has really changed and grown into a strong man who knows what he wants. He has the chance at a real family. Jade is ready to lead with the man she loves.I am voluntarily reviewing a copy I received.
What an ending. Intrigue, battles, magic and of course dragons. This book was excellent and ends the series superbly. If you read the other books in the series I do not need to tell you how good it is. If you haven't read the first book get and read it. You will be hooked. I received a free copy of the book and decided to write this review.
Such a wonderful series! Things finally come to an epic battle where you have times your holding your breath hoping that all your favorites make it through ok! Wonderful writing, wonderful series!
Best thing Ive read in a while
“I cleared my throat and met the eyes of those who would help change how we lived from this day on. “I wasn’t anyone important not so long ago. I didn’t earn this power alone. The way I see it, we stand together as one. I will do all I can to help lead us, but I promise I will need help. We stand together. We keep traditions we want,†I chuckled, taking Jade’s hand. “And get rid of those we don’t want. I will protect this with my life, and I hope we all do the same for one another—bonded or not.â€This is one hyper-powerful ending to a rocking series. And I can’t really share the story w/o spoilers so...This is one of those :â€does it really HAVE to be the end? But the story arc is complete. That doesn’t mean you can’t go back and re-read the whole series again now, does it? I highly recommend this book and this whole series. 5/5 for the book; 25/25 for the series.[disclaimer: I received this book from the author and voluntarily reviewed it]
