This little book is extremely well written and informative. It covers important basic informative to help new collectors. There are numerous colored photos which illustrate a good cross section of buttons covering history and materials. It's a great book for any lover of buttons to add to their library and is very affordable.

Wish I had ordered it in hard copy instead of Kindle. It is a good reference book, but a little difficult to handle on Kindle. Buttons (Shire Library)

This book has been such a help to me. I have always loved buttons since I was a child. Several years ago I started collecting buttons and selling them at an Antique mall. I cringe every time I think of the valuable buttons that I practically given away. It is so much fun now to go to my Buttons book and be able to research my new treasures. Great illustrations,history, and descriptions.

I chose my purchase by the reviews, as I've wanted a book on buttons. I collect from thrift stores & 2nd hand shops. The buttons in this book are not the kind of collecting I am doing. I wanted explanations for ID ing less elaborate & fancy buttons. This book just wasn't what I expected or was looking for. thank you
