I think this is the fourth state Gazetteer I've bought. I'm planning a trip to Alaska and I'm a map person, so I HAVE to have good maps when in unfamiliar territory. Because Alaska's so big, its Gazetteer is about twice as thick as ones I've bought for other states, and I believe the maps are smaller scale, but I'm ok with that. Yes, GPS will get me around, but there's no substitute for big paper maps when you want to see the big picture.
