This book is fine if you need ideas for what to put in a infuser water pitcher but isn't really that necessary. I feel like it is mostly common sense. Reading it once might give you some good ideas of combinations or things to try, but frankly I don't look back at this book ever. I got some good ideas to start with but it seems like I mostly just stick in whatever I happen to have on hand (I do love having an infuser though!)I received this book for free in exchange for an unbiased review.
I have to say, I am very impressed with this book. There is a lot of information packed into the 200+ pages. I love the different sections on what you might be looking for in your fruit-infused water, like vitamin-rich infusions, energizing infusions, or even herbal infusions. I especially like the recipe for strawberry-citrus infused water and raspberry-peach-pineapple infused water. You really don't have to have a fruit-infusion pitcher to utilize this book either. You can just use any jar or even a regular pitcher, but if you are in the market to buy a fruit-infusion pitcher, there is even a section to help you out with that! It's nice that there is a measurement conversion section also, because if you find recipes that use grams, you can convert that into ounces, or vice-versa. The fruit-infused water actually tastes better the longer you leave it in the refrigerator. This book even tells you how to use your fruit for snacks instead of throwing it away when you take it out of your water. I would recommend this book to anyone who loves their fruit-infused water! Although I purchased this book to go along with a infusion pitcher that I was extremely disappointed with, I enjoyed this book and the recipes and insight to the fruit combinations this book provides. Granted, I will not be using my pitcher as ideally made for, I do plan on juicing the fruit so to speak to give me the stronger flavors I desire and the book is a great resource to provide great flavor combinations of fruit with mouth-watering recipes. I only gave the book 3 stars because one would have to be in the market for solely fruit infused water recipes, which not everyone is. I am sure that a lot of these recipes could have been obtained online for free. However, if one was to indeed be interested in purchasing a flavor infusing pitcher of some sort - than this book is a must have and should be ordered with that pitcher as well. I do look forward to trying more recipes in this book.I was reimbursed for the price of this book to give an honest and truthful review.

You can google this stuff (which is what I did when I got my own infusion pitcher...cucumber basil, strawberry mint, etc., just the basics), but there's something to be said about having pages to turn and a place to jot down notes (yes, I'm a Millennial). It wasn't until I got this book and an infusion pitcher as Christmas presents for my mom, thinking the book might inspire her to actually use the pitcher, that I realized how many creative and delicious ideas I was missing due to a lack of desire to spend more time hopping from webpage to webpage trying to find something that was remotely mouthwatering (who wants to spend more time looking at a computer screen after doing that for 8 hours at work. The fact that I'm spending more time after work writing this review is a testimony to how much I like it). The book has some PHENOMENAL, creative (yet simple!) recipes and worthwhile overviews of various health aspects of infusion ingredients. I'm buying this book a second time for myself! It's compact, informative, visually pleasing, inspirational, and chock full of delicious recipes. Hooray!
I just got two infusers, and this book really came in handy. It is small and easy to understand. There are more recipes in it than anything else, I think maybe ten pages are devoted to infusion and the rest is all recipes. The recipes are all broken down into categories, and the index will help you find what you are looking for.I do wish they had more fruits in the single section. I wanted specifically a raspberry recipe and wasn't sure how much to get. I just ended up using the blackberry recipes to guess quantities.

They are divided according to their properties, like refreshing, cleansing, antioxidant, herbal infusions etc. You can even use sparkling water to make your infusions. My favorite part is Wild Infusions where author gives recipes that you’ll think are deserts; e.g., banana split infusion and Lemon Pie infusion.Once you go through these recipes you can come up with so many of your own.
