This was a fun quick read were Valentine’s Day played a small role. Meet Cole and Piper, they know each other from work and have been lusting after each other for quite some time only neither one of them as acted on it. It’s a sweet story with a hint of steam. Cole doesn’t demonstrate the typical rich CEO behavior, and while Piper is shy, she’s actually a kick-ass heroine. After admitting their attraction to each other early in the story, they keep it professional. It was a breath of fresh air compared to other work place romances. While their relationship is super slow moving, I didn’t get frustrated with the slow burn due to the sweetness of the story. Once they get to the sexy times, it’s hot and steamy, but a little too over the top at certain parts. The story could use a lot more character development in the couple getting to know each other. For a debut book from a new author, this was a good step in the write direction. I’m curious to see what she does next.
I’m putting this author on my watch list. It’s always so exciting to find a new author that really has it together - great storyline, great writing style, no editing problems, easy to read and enjoy.Loved this sweet couple. He’s an alpha male but like Captain America sweetness. The girl is sweet and shy but not a pushover. What a great combo. Neither one of these to are virgins but we don’t have any of their pasts thrown in our faces. The other woman drama isn’t someone he’s been with, just someone that we like to hate and adds a little bit of drama to the story to make it even more interesting.Wonderful job Tessa Wood! Keep it up! Can’t wait to see what you come up with next <3
I am so happy this book popped up as a book I might be interested in. I absolutely loved it!Handsome cole, CEO of a lingerie company is interested in one of the quiet designers, Piper. She’s been staring at him for years as well, at all the monthly meetings. This book is well written, realistic, with characters you’ll love! Wonderful chemistry, super sexy, a fast read, & a happy ending makes this a must read book! It even has a Valentine theme. ♥ï¸
I found this after a disappointing stint of guys coming on too strong, the plot being mostly sex scenes or tge steamy scenes being a turn-off. This has main characters that are funny, interesting, not rushing into things, and actually seem happy / care for each other. I really miss having lighter feeling stories!I hope to read more by this writer soon!

Couldn't put the book down until I finished it. Laughed my way through falling in love with to of the most appealing characters I have ever met.
Piper is such shy person to be designing lingerie! This story delves into her finding her voice and the man of her dreams, Cole. The author does a spectacular job with character development. I was pulling for Piper the whole way! When she was the bigger person despite Rachel's meddling my hat went off to her. I know I would not have been as gracious. This book contains humor, heat, an original story line, and if course an HEA!!!Loved it!!!
I read this in one evening and it was satisfying, although I think it could have been fleshed out WAY more.Spoilers!!!I felt like the main characters went from awkward introductions to discussing having children together in just a few moments. I am all for a fast-paced romance, but I’m waaaaay too cynical for a that quickly of a fairytale. But the sexy times were super sexy and steamy!
