I really enjoyed the trilogy. Sometimes the execution of the tried and tested scenario is exactly what's needed. I would have liked more backstory to the world and both Solag and Arianne were quite underutilised. A solid fantasy read otherwise and a total steal for the promotional price.
Some good points in the trilogy, but overall a lot of dull and boring dialog. A little more realism would have gone a long way.
Excellent job nonstop action doesn't slow down keeps you turning page's trying to figure out what happens next.Great read excellent writing.Will be ordering more.
Pro: plot is well thought out and moves along at a steady pace. All three books are equally written.Con: characters were not fleshed out enough to relate to them, it's as if the author was afraid to use any adjectives or any vocabulary above basic level.
good story line, bit repetitive
Despite the zig zag plot, it all comes together in the end although it is a sudden ending. Perhaps the author tired of his task.
I enjoyed the series. It was full of action, suspense and love. The story line continued from book to book. Jon Kiln made you feel like you were there. I look forward to reading the other series of his books. Y
